I love Calvin & Hobbes and that is where I got another one of my children's names from. Sometimes he acts too much like Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes and I think, what was I thinking?:-). Anyway now that I know how to do the picture thing I thought it would be fun to post some snowmen cartoons.

I love Calvin & Hobbs. You must have a good sense of humor because that kid is out of his mind to the point that it is funny.
James: Yah, my husband and I both love Calvin & Hobbes. But I still remember a guy from church's reaction when he found out that was where I had gotten my son's name from :-).
These never get old.

Sadly, two of my all time favorite cartoonists no longer produce their art.
I used to absolutely LOVE anything from B. Kliban -- though he didn't do the strip thing, his books were wonderfully eccentric and his art was so unique. Bernard Kliban passed away in 1990 at age 55, and I was devastated.
My second favorite cartoonist still lives but his brain has essentially emptied out. Gary Larson produced The Far Side which began in 1980 via the San Francisco Chronicle. His last cartoon ran on 12-31-1994.
Long live B. Kliban and G. Larson!
Funny, I had these cartoons sent to me in an e-mail but when I tried to send them to my pictures they wouldn't load! They are hysterical! I'm glad you were able to post them.
I came over here because I saw a comment where you said you had posted a picture of Mel Gibson. I too love Mel Gibson. Thank you for that! :)

Gayle: How can you not love Mel Gibson? It is funny because he is one of those men that crosses generations. My mom & I both like him.

I love "The FAR Side" also. It has always been my favorite.
