Friday Smorgasbord!

--I'm actually paying attention to the World Cup this year, which is amazing since I don't pay attention to any sports, period. I do think it is inspirational to see the Kansas City Power and Light district overwhelmed with USA fans!

--A little bummed that Kansas City is now out of the running for the 2016 Republican National Convention!  It is now between Denver or Dallas.

--I have a lot of sympathy for parents who have left their kids in their car by accident.  A parent can't imagine a greater horror.  Yet, this case just seems to get dicier each day, to think that this man may have purposely done this to his toddler is hard to comprehend.

--A woman named Amelia Earhart is attempting to relive history.  I find it to be pretty cool.
