Brigitte Gabriel

"For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?"--Esther 4:14

I had the privilege of getting to meet and hear Brigitte Gabriel speak last night. A friend and I went and had a great time. I thought my eyes were open to what we are facing with Islamic terrorism, but Gabriel really jolted us into the reality of what we are up against.

I took notes while Gabriel spoke and the following is a summary of what she talked about:
Gabriel's background is incredible. She grew up in Lebanon, which for many years was the only Democracy in the Middle East in addition to Israel. Her and her family suffered for years while Lebanon was attacked by Islamic terrorists. She lived in a bomb shelter for 7 years and wasn't able to go to school for some time. When she was finally able to attend school it was because Israel had come to their rescue and she rode in a tank to school.

She later became a world reporter and started to notice that Jews and Christians were always the victims of Muslim terrorist attacks. The world wasn't paying attention while Islamic extremists killed many who they considered to be infidels, even many of their fellow Muslims.

Lebanon lost their country to Islamic terrorists because they were an open and free country and they weren't aware of the threat. The United States is headed in the same direction if we don't wake up. Right now, Hamas has terrorist cells in 40 states in the U.S. and Hezbollah has cells in 11 states. There is a Hamas cell right here in KC.

So far, at least 13,000 Islamic terrorists have been smuggled across the Mexican border. The goal of Islamic extremists is to overthrow our democracy because according to them, democracy is the source of all evil.
After Gabriel was done speaking, Guy Rodgers (the Executive Director for American Congress for Truth (ACT)) got up and spoke. He is the one who compared Brigitte to Esther and quoted the passage of Scripture that I have at the very top. I think it is a perfect comparison.

He talked about how we cannot afford to appease Islamic terrorists because every time you do, that only empowers them. He gave some concrete steps on what the grassroots movement can do to combat Islamic extremists. Below are some of the ways that you can take action. I plan on hopefully doing all three. She also has a new book that is being released on September 2nd entitled, "They Must Be Stopped: Why We Must Defeat Radical Islam and How We Can Do It".

Take Action:
--Join American Congress for Truth
--Read Brigitte Gabriel's book, "Because They Hate"
--Attend an ACT Training Conference
