Joy Behar sinks to a new low in the Tim Tebow Story!

College Football great, Tim Tebow and his Mother are going to appear in a Super Bowl ad on February 7th, done by Focus on the Family. They are going to share their inspirational story, that happens to be pro-life:
"The Tebows, they have a lot of really inspiring stories. And [Mrs. Tebow] and Tim are going to share one of those stories on February the 7th," said Gary Schneeberger, Focus on the Family spokesman.

Jim Daly, president and CEO of Focus on the Family, said in a statement, "Tim and Pam share our respect for life and our passion for helping families thrive."

The Tebows are evangelical Christians who have served as missionaries in the Philippines on numerous occasions and founded the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association, which continues to evangelize in the Philippines, where Tim was born.

During one of the mission trips, Mrs. Tebow came down with amoebic dysentery and slipped into a coma, requiring a treatment regimen that included strong antibiotics that can damage or kill an unborn child. When Mrs. Tebow learned she was pregnant, doctors advised her to abort the baby, whom she and her husband had prayed for and already named Timothy, she told the Gainesville, Fla., Sun in 2007.

As should be anticipated, abortion advocates are freaking out.

Whoopi and Behar were talking about this on "The View" and even Whoopi didn't get why there was a controversy over Tebow's Mom sharing her inspirational story. As you can see in the above video, this is what Behar had to say:
“The only argument against any of it is, that, you know, he could just as easily become some kind of a rapist pedophile. I mean, you don’t know what someone’s going to be,” Behar answered, adding:

In this case, he turned out to be great, but it’s not an argument about abortion or not abortion [sic], it’s just, this particular case, this particular woman decided not to do it, and this is the wonderful result. There are others who decide to do it [commit abortion], and they’re glad that they did it. You know, I mean, it’s a very individual choice.”
As I said, just when you think Behar won't sink to a new low, she does. When you attack another woman's courageous decision and her own inspirational, personal story and make it ugly, you've just got to be bitter. Unbelievable!!

As for Tim Tebow, he is awesome! I don't follow College Football or any Football for that matter, so was impressed with his accomplishments:
Tim Tebow grew up to be one of the greatest players in college football history — becoming the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy as the game's best player, being nominated as a Heisman finalist two other times, and helping lead the Florida Gators to two national titles in his four years at the university.
