I haven't listened to Focus on the Family on a regular basis for a long time. So, it was by chance that I happened to tune in on the day that they re-aired, Two Families United in Tragedy. The Works and Murray families came together to participate in a two part show.

On December 9, 2007, Matthew Murray went on a shooting spree at YWAM and then later at New Life Church. While at New Life, he took the lives of 2 of the Works family's daughters. It was hard to comprehend how the Works family was able to even start the healing process. They went from being a family of 6, to a family of 4. Since, I am part of a family of 6, the thought of losing 2 of my children just seemed so heartbreaking. I could only imagine the hole it would leave in their lives.

As I read this book, I was inspired by all of their lives and the testimony of their family. It was reassuring for me to hear how they turned out coming from a homeschooling family. Yet, as Marie Works mentioned, the healing process had to be so much harder for the Murray family. They had to live with the fact that their son took some lives and damaged others.

Its a compelling story of faith and forgiveness. I highly recommend it.

Daniel Hannan Rocks!!

Daniel Hannan's speech to Prime Minister Gordon Brown has sped across the internet like lightening. He did not mince words, he went after Brown with gusto. He said that Brown had run out of "OUR" money and that he was "pathologically incapable of accepting responsibility". Wow, ouch!! We need someone here in our Congress to say all of this to Obama.

Hannan has written about the great response to his speech on his blog:

Breaking the press monopoly is one thing. But the internet has also broken the political monopoly. Ten or even five years ago, when the Minister for Widgets put out a press release, the mere fact of his position guaranteed a measure of coverage. Nowadays, a politician must compel attention by virtue of what he is saying, not his position.

It's all a bit unsettling for professional journalists and politicians. But it's good news for libertarians of every stripe. Lefties have always relied on control, as much of information as of physical resources. Such control is no longer technically feasible.

Little Dictators!

I stumbled across yesterday's IBD (Investor's Business Daily) editorial entitled, Little Dictators while helping my daughter with her speech on bail-outs. I couldn't have said it any better myself. Here is an excerpt:

The spectacle of the very same people responsible for one of the nation's great financial calamities angling to be given even more control to fix the problem would be funny if it weren't so tragic.

Rep. Barney Frank, the Democrat who sits atop Congress' efforts to deal with the financial crisis, has enough chutzpah for 100 politicians — which is saying a lot.

In comments before testimony from both Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and Fed chief Ben Bernanke Tuesday, Frank said he wants to regulate pay on Wall Street — even for companies that aren't getting bailouts.

And he called retention bonuses — a time-honored practice on Wall Street and elsewhere in America in which key employees are compensated for their enormous value — "extortion" and "bribes."

Frank, one of the chief architects of the housing mess that's brought us so low, isn't satisfied merely with pretending he and his Democratic pals aren't to blame for all this. No, exploiting voter anger over the now-infamous AIG bonuses, he also wants to dictate to American capitalism what it can earn and what it can't.

This is the kind of thing that normally happens in Third World countries ruled by tinhorn dictators, or in fascist states, where the democratic rule of law has collapsed. Not the U.S.

Yet, that's where we find ourselves today, isn't it? Democrats in Congress, who steadfastly rejected virtually all efforts to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as they went on the wildest, most irresponsible lending binge in the history of finance, now pose themselves as the saviors of fallen capitalism.

The hypocrisy is nothing short of stunning.

The Conclusion:

It's a frightening thing to see a once mighty, and free, capitalist economy placed under the heel of an incompetent government. But that's precisely what's happening now.

Executive pay, the focus of much public fury right now, is only the start. Your pay will be next, rest assured. So hold on to your wallets, sure, but also hold on even tighter to something even more precious that now seems at risk: your freedom.

The World's 10 Worst Dictators!

Every year Parade Magazine does an article on the World's Worst Dictators. Below are the top ten:

1. Robert Mugabe--Zimbabwe
Number One on the list is Robert Mugabe who is responsible for the torturing and raping his own people and allowing the conditions in his country of Zimbabwe to deteriorate dramatically over the past year. Rape and Terror is being inflicted on women and young girls who are connected to anyone in opposition to Mugabe. Below are some of the other current conditions in Zimbabwe:

--Inflation is at 80 billion percent
--A Cholera Epidemic has killed thousands
--Hundreds of thousands are starving from food shortages
--16% of population is infected with Aids
--85% Unemployment rate
--Wave of violence against supporters of opposition party

2. Omar al-Bashir--Sudan
This is what Parade had to say about al-Bashir:

This month, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for al-Bashir on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity for his contributions to the tragedy in Darfur. The ICC charged him with “ murdering, exterminating, raping, torturing, and forcibly transferring large numbers of civilians, and pillaging their property.” Bashir’s military campaign has been accused of driving 2.7 million people from their homes since 2003.

3. Kim Jong-Il--North Korea
Excerpt from Parade:

...his regime continues to be one of the world’s most repressive. Hundreds of thousands of citizens, including children, are imprisoned in labor camps for such “crimes” as hoarding food and “ anti-socialist” activities.

This is what Parade had to say about King Abdullah:

Despite King Abdullah’s talk of reform, Saudi women still need permission from male guardians to work, study, travel, marry, or even obtain an ID card. The government opened a women’s branch of its Human Rights Commission, but only men serve on its board. There is no Saudi penal code, and trial defendants often cannot question witnesses.

6. Hu Jintao--China
Here is what Parade had to say about Jintao:

Hu Jintao and the Chinese Communist Party won the right to host the 2008 Olympics by promising to improve human rights. Instead, Hu tightened restrictions on freedom of speech and religion. Repression of Tibetans and other minorities has increased dramatically. Political and religious dissidents can be held in “ Re-education Through Labor” camps for up to four years without trial.

7. Sayyid Ali Khamenei--Iran
Here is what Parade had to say about Khamenei:

Ayatollah Khamenei has increased arrests of nonviolent opponents of his regime, women's-rights activists, ethnic and religious minorities, and journalists. In 2008, Khamenei’s government was the only one in the world to execute juveniles. Iranian law considers boys eligible for the death penalty at age 15 and girls at age 9.

Friday Smorgasbord!

1) Carrie Underwood and Randy Travis sang a duet on American Idol! Randy Travis was the singing mentor this week and it reminded me of how much I adore him. Carrie Underwood has such a great voice, she could sing anything, and sing it well. So far, my 3 favorites on this season of American Idol are Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Allison Iraheta.

2) Yes, the White House Is Trying to Control the Media. Republicans Need to Stop Whining and Get In the Game--Thanks to Angela for finding this gem. If I have any criticism of the Bush administration, it is for what Sheppard brings up here, they didn't fight back against the relentless media attacks. Karl Rove admitted this recently, that they tried to be above it all, and that was a mistake, they should've fought back.


3) Shep Smith points out that Barney Frank and Chris Dodd were the ones along with the White House who allowed the AIG guys to get their bonuses!! Now we are supposed to listen to Barney Frank grand stand!! You've got to be kidding me!!

Mike weighs in on the whole issue with his post entitled, Bonus Gate: How Obama, Geithner and Dodd Misled the Public on AIG Bonuses.

The Forgotten Man!

A couple of months ago I heard Rudy Giuliani recommend the book, The Forgotten Man. Newt Gingrich, Mark Sanford, Jon Kyl, Mike Pence and Fred Barnes have offered praise for it as well.

In the book, Amity Shlaes takes an in-depth look at the Great Depression and what effect Hoover and FDR's policies did to not only help but also prolong the depression.

I had put the book on hold at the library weeks ago and it finally became available. I've started reading it and below are just a couple of quotes that I've taken note of so far:

"But the deepest problem was the intervention, the lack of faith in the marketplace. Government management of the late 1920's and 1930's hurt the economy."

"Where the private sector could help to bring the economy back--in the arena of utilities, for example--Roosevelt and his New Dealers often suppressed it."

"The New Yorker Magazine's cartoons of the plump, terrified Wall Streeter were accurate; business was terrified of the president."

Kansas City St. Patrick's Day Parade!

The kids and I walked in the St. Patrick's Day Parade yesterday for our Karate school. We have walked in parades before but they have always been smaller. This one ended up being quite the ordeal. It was 2 1/2 hours of waiting before we got to start walking, then we walked the parade route and then we got to brave downtown traffic on the way out.

Mourning the Death of Ron Silver!

"Michael Moore is a charlatan in a clown suit."--Ron Silver

I didn't even know Ron Silver was sick, so I was very sad to learn of his passing away yesterday. I had been a fan of his since he had joined Dennis Miller in becoming a "9/11 Republican" in the hostile bubble of Hollywood. Here are some excerpts from the AP article about him:

Actor Ron Silver, who won a Tony Award as a take-no-prisoners Hollywood producer in David Mamet's "Speed-the-Plow" and did a political about-face from loyal Democrat to Republican activist after the Sept. 11 attacks, died Sunday at the age of 62.

"Ron Silver died peacefully in his sleep with his family around him early Sunday morning" in New York City, said Robin Bronk, executive director of the Creative Coalition, which Silver helped found. "He had been fighting esophageal cancer for two years."

Silver, an Emmy nominee for a recurring role as a slick strategist for liberal President Jed Bartlet on "The West Wing," had a long history of balancing acting with left-leaning social and political causes.

But after the 2001 terrorist attacks, longtime Democrat Silver turned heads in Hollywood with outspoken support of President George W. Bush over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Silver spoke at the 2004 Republican National Convention, began referring to himself as a "9/11 Republican" and reregistered as an independent.

In an interview with The Associated Press a month later, Silver said his support for the war on terror was costing him work in liberal-minded Hollywood.

"It's affected me very badly. I can't point to a person or a job I've lost, but this community is not very pluralistic," Silver told the AP. "I haven't worked for 10 months."

Silver still found work despite his conservative shift, appearing in episodes of "Law & Order" and "Crossing Jordan" and such movies as "Find Me Guilty" and the Ten Commandments comedy "The Ten."

He continued his recurring role on "The West Wing," joking that he faced some taunting over his views from co-workers on the show which took place in a fiercely liberal White House administration.

"Often when I walked onto the set of 'The West Wing' some of my colleagues would greet me with a chanting of 'Ron, Ron, the neo-con.' It was all done in fun but it had an edge," Silver wrote in a Nov. 15, 2007, entry of his blog on the Pajamas Media Web site.

Silver's on-screen work rankled liberals, too. He narrated 2004's "Fahrenhype 9/11," a deconstruction of Michael Moore's Bush-bashing hit documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11."

"Michael Moore and that faction of the party was one of the factors that did not let me support the Democratic nominee this year," Silver told the AP in 2004. "He is a charlatan in a clown suit."

Team Obama Misfires on Rush!

Karl Rove makes some excellent points in his column on why The White House went after Rush Limbaugh. Team Obama wanted to distract the American people from the bad economic news, but their plan crumbled. Here is an excerpt:

Presidents throughout history have kept lists of political foes. But the Obama White House is the first I am aware of to pick targets based on polls. Even Richard Nixon didn't focus-group his enemies list.

Team Obama -- aided by Clintonistas Paul Begala, James Carville and Stanley Greenberg -- decided to attack Rush Limbaugh after poring over opinion research. White House senior adviser David Axelrod explicitly authorized the assault. Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel assigned a White House official to coordinate the push. And Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gleefully punched the launch button at his podium, suckering the White House press corps into dropping what they were doing to get Mr. Limbaugh.

Was it smart politics and good policy? No. For one thing, it gave the lie to Barack Obama's talk about ending "the political strategy that's been all about division" and "the score-keeping and the name-calling." The West Wing looked populated by petulant teenagers intent on taking down a popular rival. Such talk also shortens the president's honeymoon by making him look like a street-fighting Chicago pol instead of an inspirational, unifying figure. The upward spike in ratings for Rush and other conservative radio commentators shows how the White House's attempt at a smackdown instead energized the opposition.

Did it do any good with voters not strongly tied to either party? I suspect not. With stock markets down, unemployment growing, banks tottering, consumers anxious, business leaders nervous, and the economy shrinking, the Obama administration's attacks on a radio talk show host made it seem concerned with the trivial.

Why did the White House do it? It was a diversionary tactic. Clues might be found in the revelation that senior White House staff meet for two hours each Wednesday evening to digest their latest polling and focus-group research. I would bet a steak dinner at Morton's in Chicago these Wednesday Night Meetings discussed growing public opposition to spending, omnibus pork, more bailout money for banks and car companies, and new taxes on energy, work and capital.

What better way to divert public attention from these more consequential if problematic issues than to start a fight with a celebrity conservative? Cable TV, newspapers and newsweeklies would find the conflict irresistible. Something has to be set aside to provide more space and time to the War on Rush; why not the bad economic news?

Here's the problem: Misdirection never lasts long. Team Obama can at best only temporarily distract the public; within days, attention will return to issues that clearly should worry the White House.

Not even Team Obama can forestall unpleasant reality. And among those America now faces is Mr. Obama adding $3.2 trillion to the national debt in his first 20 months and 11 days in office, eclipsing the $2.9 trillion added during the Bush presidency's entire eight years.

Another reality is that Mr. Obama's fiscal house is built on gimmicks. For example, it assumes the cost of the surge in Iraq will extend for a decade. This brazenly dishonest trick was done to create phony savings down the line.

Why I'm not a Meghan McCain Fan!

I like Meghan McCain about as much as I like her father, which means, not so much!! She seems to have this same desire to be loved by the Drive By Media.

So, how do you get attention from the Drive By Media? You attack Ann Coulter. She accuses Ann Coulter of being anti-semitic. If she knew anything about Ann Coulter, she would know that wasn't true. I think it has more to do with the fact that Coulter is an actual conservative, and she wasn't a fan of Meghan's father.

O'Reilly had Townhall's Amanda Carpenter on his show last night to talk about Meghan's attacks on Ann. So far, Ann hasn't responded and Carpenter doesn't think that she will. When O'Reilly asked why Meghan was doing this, Carpenter said that what better way to get media attention than to go after Ann Coulter. O'Reilly also mentioned that Meghan had expressed no desire to be on his show, so apparently its only the liberal Media that she loves.

Meghan was also on Hannity's "Great American Panel" the other night. The panel was asked who would lead the Republican Party in the future. While others expressed interest in Sarah Palin, Meghan did not. As Joseph at Conservatives 4 Palin pointed out, we need to quit letting the Media pick our candidates and our spokespeople. As I said on my Face book page, if Meghan McCain is the new face of our party, then God help us all!

Why Fiscal Conservatives Need Social Conservatives!

Author Jack Cashill spoke at our Republican Central Committee Meeting last night. He made a great case for why fiscal conservatives need social conservatives.

We often hear how embarrassed some of the "country club" Republicans are by having to associate with those of us in the party who are considered to be a little too religious, a little too right wing or in other words those pesky "social conservatives".

Cashill shared a lot of what he discovered in doing his book on what is wrong with California. Bottom line: moral problems end up creating a lot of financial problems. He talked about how the increase in divorce rates led to a lot of broken homes. At the same time the divorce rates were going up, so were the crime and poverty rates. The difference between intact families that had issues with crime and poverty and single parent families was drastic. He gave other examples with a lot of research to back them all up.

It was an interesting talk and he made a great case, although, I think its something that most social conservatives are aware of. During the question and answer time I brought up the opposite problem of social conservatives thinking they didn't need fiscal conservatives and gave the followers of Mike Huckabee as an example. I knew I was treading on dangerous ground, since I knew the guy sitting right next to me was a Huckabee supporter, but I asked it anyway ;-). Cashill confirmed my suspicion that SOME Evangelicals just aren't that politically educated to know any better. It was pretty ironic because thats been my theory all along, but he just wasn't afraid to spell it out ;-).

I had read some of Cashill's stuff before but I had never heard him speak. He's quite the character and I enjoyed getting to hear him weigh in on the issues of the day.

Jason Mattera Takes on Charlie Rangel!

Jason Mattera has guts of steel!! Remember him? He's the guy who took on John Murtha for not apologizing to the Marines he accused of murdering innocents in cold blood, after the charges against them had been dismissed.

Once again, he's taking on a slimy politician that the Drive By Media refuses to. Above, he goes after Charlie Rangel for some of his "ethical" issues and Rangel loses it and doesn't respond very well. Grey Ghost comments on Rangel's response by saying that:

Liberals and class don't belong in the same sentence.

Monday Smorgasbord!

1) Embrace Enemies, Strike Your Friends--Roger Hedgecock is probably my favorite radio guy to sub for Rush. He nails it in this article talking about Obama's foreign policy.

2) It may be the end of the road for Specter!--I think its past time for Specter to retire. Guys like him, Byrd and Kennedy need to know when its time for them to be done.

In Specter's case, he's probably going to face another tough primary challenge against Toomey and the Republican party in Pennsylvania has gotten more conservative. Plus, Democrats and Independents are not allowed to vote in the Republican primary in Pennsylvania and if Specter lost the primary he couldn't run as an Independent in the general election according to Pennsylvania rules.

Friday Smorgasbord!

1) Two Families United in Tragedy--I was listening to Focus on the Family yesterday and it was a powerful program. It was the first of a two part series. The second part is airing today. The story is about the shooting that took place on December 9, 2007 in Colorado.

The guests on the show were the parents of the shooter who killed 4 people and then killed himself and the parents of two of the victims. It is a story about tragedy and forgiveness. You can go here to listen to the podcast online.

2) Lifelong Democrat and Obama Voter Jim Cramer Blasts Obama Team for the Economic Disaster we are Witnessing--I was listening to Cramer on Hannity's radio show yesterday and was just floored. Somehow Cramer voted for Obama thinking he was a middle of the road Democrat. So, now he's not happy seeing Obama attack free market capitalism and promote socialism. In fact, Cramer said this,

Obama's budget may be one of the great wealth destroyers of all time.

Here are some more excerpts of what he said:

Look at the incredible decline in the stock market, in all indices, since the inauguration of the president, with the drop accelerating when the budget plan came to light because of the massive fear and indecision the document sowed: Raising taxes on the eve of what could be a second Great Depression, destroying the profits in healthcare companies (one of the few areas still robust in the economy), tinkering with the mortgage deduction at a time when U.S. house price depreciation is behind much of the world's morass and certainly the devastation affecting our banks, and pushing an aggressive cap and trade program that could raise the price of energy for millions of people.

...Obama has undeniably made things worse by creating an atmosphere of fear and panic rather than an atmosphere of calm and hope. He's done it by pushing a huge amount of change at a very perilous moment, by seeking to demonize the entire banking system and by raising taxes for those making more than $250,000 at the exact time when we need them to spend and build new businesses, and by revoking deductions for funds to charity that help eliminate the excess supply of homes.

We had a banking crisis coming into this regime, but now every area is in crisis. Each day is worse than the previous one for this miserable economy and while Obama's champions cite the stimulus plan, it's really just a hodgepodge of old Democratic pork and will not create nearly as many manufacturing or service jobs as we hoped. China's stimulus plan is the model; ours is the parody.

3) Should Republicans Be Worried about Michael Steele?--I had high hopes for him but I have to say he's already making me nervous. His comments about Rush were disastrous. Rush has 22 million listeners, he offended all of us with those comments and apologizing a day later just made him look weak.

"Steele has an additional problem: he now looks like a nincompoop."--That about sums it up.

I hope Steele can get his act together and restore faith and confidence. And as this guy points out, do what an RNC chairman is actually supposed to be doing.

Do Abortionists Lack a Conscience?

Hialeah abortion clinic denies throwing newborn away after botched procedure
An excerpt:

A Hialeah abortion clinic owner's lawyer this afternoon said his client will plead not guilty to accusations she delivered a live baby during a botched procedure and then threw the infant away.

Its sad that we've gotten to the place in society that life is so worthless that babies are discarded in trash bins. How could anyone with a conscience be capable of this?

Kansas late-term abortionist to face trial
An excerpt:

A judge on Wednesday refused to dismiss the criminal case against Kansas late-term abortionist George Tiller, who has been accused of violating the state’s late-term abortion law.

There is a reason Tiller has been called the baby killer. He still performs late term abortions with seemingly no reservations. Even after the partial birth abortion ban was passed he kept right on going. It looks like he may finally be brought to justice.

The Obama Economy--by the WSJ

The market has notably plunged since Mr. Obama introduced his budget last week, and that should be no surprise. The document was a declaration of hostility toward capitalists across the economy. Health-care stocks have dived on fears of new government mandates and price controls. Private lenders to students have been told they're no longer wanted. Anyone who uses carbon energy has been warned to expect a huge tax increase from cap and trade. And every risk-taker and investor now knows that another tax increase will slam the economy in 2011, unless Mr. Obama lets Speaker Nancy Pelosi impose one even earlier.

Meanwhile, Congress demands more bank lending even as it assails lenders and threatens to let judges rewrite mortgage contracts. The powers in Congress -- unrebuked by Mr. Obama -- are ridiculing and punishing the very capitalists who are essential to a sustainable recovery. The result has been a capital strike, and the return of the fear from last year that we could face a far deeper downturn. This is no way to nurture a wounded economy back to health.

Listening to Mr. Obama and his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, on the weekend, we couldn't help but wonder if they appreciate any of this. They seem preoccupied with going to the barricades against Republicans who wield little power, or picking a fight with Rush Limbaugh, as if this is the kind of economic leadership Americans want.

Perhaps they're reading the polls and figure they have two or three years before voters stop blaming Republicans and Mr. Bush for the economy. Even if that's right in the long run, in the meantime their assault on business and investors is delaying a recovery and ensuring that the expansion will be weaker than it should be when it finally does arrive.

So, my liberal buddy Kirk was squawking about me blaming Obama for the stock market's trouble of late. He made the case that neither Bush nor Obama should be blamed when the stock market doesn't do well. I would agree with that to a certain extent. The problem is, the stock market responds to actual economic factors but also to whether things are being done to make things better or worse. Obama was supposed to ride in on his white horse and fix everything and give us hope and show us how he was going to make everything better.


The problem is, he isn't instilling confidence in ANYONE that he has the solutions to make the economy better. In fact, he's showing us that he is hostile towards free market capitalism which is the engine of our economy. NO ONE has ever SPENT their way out of a recession. You can't negate the fact that Obama makes the stock market nervous. And it isn't like the stock market has gone up and down while he's been president, it has only gone down. If his plans for the economy were good, the stock market would heave a sigh of relief and the numbers would reflect that, even before anything had changed. The problem is, the stock market has no confidence in Obama's socialistic "stimulus bill" and as a result it continues to plummet.

As I keep saying, for our own financial well being, we've got to hope that somewhere along the way Obama accidentally does something right.

Michael Steele and Rush Limbaugh!

Is it smart to throw a man who defended you against vicious liberal attacks under the bus? Apparently, Michael Steele was okay with that when he willingly fell into the liberal media's trap of attacking Rush Limbaugh.

Rush rarely has guests on his show, and yet he had Steele on in 2006 when Steele was running for the U.S. Senate in Maryland. At the time, Steele was being viciously attacked by liberals and Rush not only had him on the show but he came to his defense.

Steele rewarded Rush with this:

In an interview on CNN with D.L. Hughley, Steele assured that he, not Limbaugh, was in charge of the party before saying that he wanted to put the right-wing talker “into context.”

“Rush Limbaugh is an entertainer,” Steele said. “Rush Limbaugh, his whole thing is entertainment. Yes it’s incendiary, yes it’s ugly.”

I was STUNNED when I heard about all of this yesterday. I am a Michael Steele fan and I couldn't believe that Steele had been so naive and foolish. As Grey Ghost said:

D.L. Hughley, a liberal comedian now posing as a "journalist" on CNN, played Steele for a fool by getting him to diss Limbaugh. Indeed, Hughley played the oldest card in the book, divide and conquer, and Steele was dumb enough to fall for it hook, line and sinker.

Rush responded and put Steele in his place. One of the strangest things is Steele saying that he doesn't agree with Rush on not wanting Obama to succeed. If that is true, then as Rush asks, what part of Obama's agenda do you want to succeed? His socialistic "stimulus plan"? Nationalized health care? The fairness doctrine? FOCA? Rush and Republicans want the country to succeed, just not Obama's socialistic agenda. And Rush's point is that as head of the RNC, Steele had better not want Obama's agenda to succeed or otherwise what is the point?

Most likely, after realizing that offending Rush's 22 million plus listeners wasn't such a good idea, he apologized. Michelle Malkin calls it a non-apology apology, but I still think it was the right thing to do, and I am glad he did it. Gateway Pundit also thinks it was a good move.

Even Patrick, who is no Rush fan, was on Rush's side on this one.

Rush Limbaugh at CPAC!!

I've wanted to go to CPAC for years, and one of these days I plan on making it. It sure would've been nice to go this year though, and be able to hear Rush, especially while dealing with our present socialistic administration in the White House.

There is at least one speech I would've skipped though!

Gateway Pundit reminds us why CNN is called the Communist News Network with their take on Rush's speech. Gateway also enjoyed Rush's mocking of Harry Reid.
