"The New Yorker" Stumbles Trying To Make Their Point

Above is the current illustration on the cover of "The New Yorker".

When I saw this I thought they were making fun of Obama but it turns out they are illustrating the "absurdity" of how the right sees him. Instead of accomplishing their purpose of bashing conservatives they offended Obama.

Politics can be pretty entertaining sometimes. You have to laugh at this.

If they were able to come up with the same type of absurdity as to how the left views McCain I wonder what it would look like? Perhaps simply a picture of Bush with McCain's body but walking with a cane and, as this writer imagines, Cindy overdosing on a bottle of pills.
