Gag Me With a Spoon Award Winners

I haven't done any GMWAS Awards lately so I'm past due. I saw that Code Pink had a Mother's Day protest against the war. I can't begin to tell you how this irks me. All these moms who march against the war, against guns, etc... It makes me want to gather some patriotic, justice moms and march for "Peace Through Strength". I hate that so many moms are portrayed as Oprah, weepy, wimpy type women. Instead of wimpy women that believe in compromise and appeasement how about some strong women that inspire and encourage others to fight for justice and freedom.

Rebekah brought my attention to the fact that Michael Schiavo has a blog at the Daily Kos. Even those that aren't sure what to think of the Schiavo case all admit that Michael makes their skin crawl. Does anyone besides extreme leftists care what this man has to say?

The left which defends abortion at all costs. Judicial Watch has come upon some documents showing the justification and spin that went into Bill Clinton's pushing the abortion pill RU-486 as one of his first acts in the White House. Robosquirrel and Crazy both have good posts on this. They both included these disturbing paragraphs from a letter written by Ron Weddington:
"There have been 30 million abortions in this country since Roe v. Wade. Think of all the poverty, crime and misery...and then add 30 million unwanted babies to the scenario. We lost a lot of ground during the Reagan-Bush religious orgy. We don't have a lot of time left. . . .

The biblical exhortation to "be fruitful and multiply" was directed toward a small tribe, surrounded by enemies. We are long past that. Our survival depends upon our developing a population where everyone contributes. We don't need more cannon fodder. We don't need more parishioners. We don't need more cheap labor. We don't need more poor babies."

And just think of the Code Pink ladies who are so against war and guns. They object to killing terrorists but have no problem slaughtering innocent babies. Whats wrong with this picture?
